I am now able to do in-person training, but outside only. If the weather is bad we can either rearrange to another time, or hold the session by FaceTime instead.

GRADUATE PAWS 6-WEEK PUPPY/YOUNG DOG COURSE £270 (travel fee may apply for in-person training, please see below)
A COMPREHENSIVE 6-WEEK COURSE IN YOUR OWN HOME AT A TIME CONVENIENT TO YOU
If you have a puppy or young dog who has mastered the basics such as housetraining, handling, etc, and you would like to progress their training further with a flexible solution, why not book this 6-week course at your home at your convenience. Each session will last a minimum of one hour. It is an ideal follow-on from the Junior Paws course but is also an excellent course for any dog of this age. Recall and loose-lead-walking continue to be an important part of the content (especially at this teenage stage!), plus instant down, calmness, impulse control and development of essential day-to-day skills such as confidence, focus, and building a strong relationship with you, all done using easy, effective and fun games and exercises. The course content will be adjusted as necessary to suit your dog's requirements and existing level of training.
Suitable for young dogs from approx 4-5 months upwards.
The course includes a selection of ebooks and handouts where relevant covering each week's games/exercises, and I will provide support by phone or email between sessions including video feedback (optional, but it helps you to progress more quickly!).
INDIVIDUAL/ONE-TO-ONE £65 (travel fee may apply for in-person training, please see below)
I provide individual training sessions for a fully tailored approach, designed to address the aspects of training which you would like to improve or just to develop a closer relationship with your dog.
Each session will be 1 -1.5 hours and includes a detailed write-up after each visit, detailing everything we covered, the games you need to play and full instructions for how to play them.
Games-based concept training is more effective than some quick-fix methods as the results are achieved by reshaping the dog's emotions which cause bad behaviours, so that the cause of the problem is resolved and not just the resulting unwanted behaviour. Bad behaviours will be likely to return if the basic cause is not addressed. I recommend that you have a minimum of three sessions in order to achieve the results you are looking for. I will also provide support in between sessions, including video feedback to help you progress more quickly.
I particularly welcome dogs which find life a little more challenging, stressful or exciting. Maybe they find it difficult to be around other dogs, have an inconsistent recall, pull on the lead or are unable to relax at home. You can improve your dog's behaviour by playing the right games for your training struggle, all done using fun and positive rewards.
The games are suitable for dogs of all ages from puppies to older adults. They are a great way of starting your puppy to be a confident, happy and well-behaved member of the family; and older dogs love to play too.
I travel throughout North and West Oxfordshire (Kidlington, Bicester, Banbury, Chipping Norton, Witney) normally to your home. However, due to the Coronavirus restrictions, all training is taking place by FaceTime until further notice.
The area I cover extends further than the circle on the map but please note that a travel fee of 45p per mile (outward and return) will apply outside the circle.
